Hannah Stroud lived in the United Kingdom until 2003 when she moved to the United States. Since coming to the U.S., Hannah has lived in Louisiana, Tennessee, and Texas. She now lives with her family—her two sons, husband, and step-daughter—in McKinney, Texas.
Prior to moving to the U.S., Hannah worked for Ernst & Young and, later, Smith & Nephew, PLC, where she managed the corporate governance department. After moving to Texas, Hannah returned to school, graduating cum laude from Texas Tech School of Law in 2009. Since that time, Hannah has worked in Collin and surrounding counties, handling a variety of legal matters. After having the opportunity to work in various legal fields, Hannah focused her area of practice on family law.
Hannah litigates a range of family law cases including custody matters, modifications, property divisions, and enforcement actions. Hannah also has extensive experience in representing parents involved in CPS matters. In addition to her trial experience, Hannah has appealed family law, criminal law, and CPS cases to both the lower and upper appellate courts. Hannah now offers mediation services, with the goal of offering a less adversarial way for families to resolve their legal issues.
The crux of Hannah’s practice is ensuring that the families of Collin and surrounding counties are provided secure, honest, and competent counsel. Hannah understands that, especially where children are involved, extensive litigation is not always the best way to handle a family law case. She also understands that, at times, it is the only way to handle a case. When that happens, Hannah will be prepared and ready to take your case to court.
