John M. Hafen
John M. Hafen is a business attorney who focuses on complex commercial litigation and serving as outside counsel to companies across a range of industries. John has developed particular depth in the healthcare sector, where he advises physician groups, staffing companies, providers, and other healthcare businesses on both litigation and regulatory matters. His experience includes working within federaland state healthcare regulatory frameworks, including the Stark Law and Anti-Kickback Statute. He regularly counsels clients on structuring relationships, compensation models, and transactions to align with these regulations, and conducts compliance analyses and risk assessments across a variety of business arrangements.
On the litigation side, John represents healthcare clients in disputes involving fraud and abuse allegations, contractual and lease disputes, reimbursement and coverage issues, and a range of business tort claims.
