Through the SMU VanSickle Family Law Clinic, she gained hands-on family law experience and managed a pro bono divorce case from start to finish. In her third year, she externed with the SMU Office of Legal Affairs, handling the wide range of issues university in-house counsel face, including contract drafting, student affairs matters, risk management, and athletics.
